Club Cards - What Guests Need to Know

During your stay on Fripp Island, you may choose to purchase Club Cards issued by Fripp Island Resort. These cards provide access to many of the island’s resort-style amenities.
Please review the information below to determine whether Club Cards are right for your stay.
What Are Club Cards?
Club Cards (also called Amenity Cards) grant access to Fripp Island Resort amenities, including:
Championship golf courses
Resort swimming pools
Tennis and pickleball courts
Fitness center
On-island resort restaurants and bars
Activity center and select resort programming
Club Cards are required for guests age 13 and older to use these amenities.
Children 12 and under are complimentary when accompanied by an adult with a card.
Club Cards are not required for beach access, island roads, walking and biking paths, or non-resort dining and shopping.
How to Obtain Club Cards
Club Cards are available only for homes owned by Fripp Island Club Members.
Confirm availability with your property manager prior to arrival.
If available, the cards must be requested in advance for you.
Guests must pick up their own cards in person on the day of arrival, per resort policy.
If the owner of your rental home is not a Fripp Island Club Member, Club Cards cannot be purchased for that property.
Club Card Pricing (2026)
Pricing is per person, age 13 and older, and varies by season and length of stay.
Weekly & Short-Stay Rates
1–4 Days 5–8 Days

Monthly Rate (Long-Term Stays)
November 1 – March 31: $140 per person
Prices include South Carolina admissions tax and applicable Beaufort County fees.
Additional Fees
A 12.8% resort fee may apply when Club Cards are requested through Fripp Island Resort.
Rush fees may be charged for last-minute or same-day requests.
Where to Pick Up Your Club Cards
Club Cards are picked up in person upon arrival at the Fripp Island Resort Guest Services / Welcome Center near the front entrance of the island.
Cards are not delivered to vacation homes.

Wildlife: Increased deer activity around holidays—remind guests not to feed or approach them. Beach Boardwalks: Shifted sand can create uneven steps; check periodically or notify your PM for inspection. Trash & Recycling: Holiday weeks see overflow. Cans must be curbside by 7 AM for reliable pickup.

Snowbird Stays: January–March brings long-term renters looking for 1–3 month stays. Homes with quiet locations, canal views, or screened porches perform especially well. Pet-Friendly Demand: Over 40% of winter inquiries request pet-friendly homes—consider revisiting your pet policy if applicable. Golf Season: Spring golf weekends fill quickly—encourage guests to book early or bundle passes.

🔐 Gate Access & Security Fripp’s security will begin enhanced holiday-gate staffing from mid-December through New Year’s. Encourage guests and vendors to submit access requests 48 hours in advance to avoid delays at the gate. 🚧 Island Improvements Current or upcoming updates that may affect owners or guests: Marina upgrades continue through winter months—minimal impact expected, but daytime construction noise may occur. Tarpon Blvd drainage improvements continue in phases—helpful for homes along the canal.

December – January Events on Fripp Island Holiday Golf Cart Parade: A festive island tradition! Decorate your cart and join neighbors for the annual holiday ride through the island. Great guest photo-op if your home is occupied. New Year’s Eve at the Beach Club: Live music, dinner specials, and fireworks (weather permitting). Encourage guests with late-December reservations to book dinner early. Winter Wildlife Walks: FI Naturalist Program offers guided tours where guests can learn about deer, dolphin sightings, and migratory birds. Camp Fripp Winter Sessions: Limited winter programs for families visiting over the holidays.
